Seasonal Scrolls - 22
for a complete card or a topper fitting an 8x8 or larger envelope.
An old scroll has been unfurled to reveal a seasonal scene.
The scroll is adorned with a large Christmas bauble drop hanging from the top right corner of the scroll.
Down the left hand side of the scroll is a lace banner decorated with large flowers, some having green holly leaves and golden leaf swirls. The flowers, baubles and scenes are different on each card in the series.

Reduced the size slightly to fit 8 1/2" x 11" matte photo paper. Rough cut the scroll insert and used spray adhesive to back it with coordinating stash paper to make it a bit more sturdy, let it dry, then cut it out very carefully.
Cut out the card front, then scored and valley folded just to the right of the floral strip. Lined it up with the insert and made a pencil line on the insert along the fold line on the card front. From the pencil line over to the left edge, added strips of strong double-sided tape, then carefully attached the card front to the insert.
Added the decoupage (most, but not all) with silicone gel, but first I used colored pencils to color in the white areas so they would more closely match the original card front.
Finished with various colors of glitter glue here and there on the design.
