I have used satin finished A4 white 170gsm photo paper to print out each of the main sheets provided and regular good quality 80gsm copy paper for the insert section of the card. I have used a silver blue permanent pen to define the edges of the completed card and on the oval element before I attached it to the card front. I used the same pen to define the edges of the oval ornament and the bow.

To make this beautifully designed and so easy to make, 16cmx11cm, 3.75cm deep, finished sized box for this project, I have printed both sheets for the pattern provided onto A4 white satin finished 170gsm photo paper and then printed onto the other side cup1093273_4386, a design by Belinda R Designs, named Berry Sweet Mice 2020- 7. I scored and folded the 8 lines indicated after cutting out the correct shapes for both the top and bottom of the box. With the blue image facing, I attached 7mm wide red power tape onto each long edge of the 4 small flaps, leaving the peel off backing still attached, then turned the box shape over and attached the same 7mm wide red power tape to both long edges of the inside of the 11cm x 2.5cm, close to, but not on the fold line and leaving the tape backing on. By standing the box shape on its’ end I was then able to attach, first the flaps, folding in and matching the edges and secondly folding in and matching the longer inside fold, peeling of the backing strips as I worked. I have attached a 30cm length of ribbon onto the inside of each side of the lid, in line with the ribbon pattern. To make the stand and the decorative ornament, I have followed the directions and using white glue attached the 2 pieces together, allowing time to dry before attaching the topper and the bows. I have used mod podge dimensional magic to give the dimensional holographic appearance to the chicken and the bow. To complete the card, I cut out all the elements and used D.S. padded tape to attach each of the elements in turn. This delightful collection has made an ideal gift for Easter, every thing packs in the box to post and there I still room for me to add some tiny little tasty egg- shaped treats.
