Cardtopper Steampunk Lady Red Roses

Beautiful bright bold colours. Design printed onto 210gsm matt card. Topper applied tp 8x8 card with collal glue. Decoupage cut out and mounted with foam pads. Matching insert, sentiment and gems applied to complete this delightful steam punk card.

I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and the insert onto 160gsm paper and cut these out. I scored and folded an 8 x 8 scalloped edged card. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape.

I attached the insert to the inside of the card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I added the greeting using thin foam tape. I added the butterflies using thin foam tape under one wing and a blob of silicone glue under the other wing.

I shaped this wing using my fingers to give more definition.
