Spring Posies 7x7 Tent Card - Glorious Morning
A range of pretty tent cards that are really easy to make but look so effective when made up. As with all of my kits, there is lots of decoupage to choose from but you don't need to use any if cutting out is not your thing!! The card will still look great. They all fit into any 7x7 envelope and come complete with lots of greetings labels, matching insert and full instructions. There are 4 or 5 sheets in most of the kits and they are suitable for all sorts of occasions including birthdays, thank you, Mothers Day etc.
This design has a pretty arrangement of Morning glory and bright flowers on a lavender background.

I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I printed the back of the design onto 300gsm card and the insert onto 160gsm paper and cut these out.
I scored and folded the top of the 300gsm printout and attached the front panel to it above the score line forming a tent shape.
Using a 300gsm card allows the card to stand easily. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I added the insert to the inside of the card using double sided tape. I added the greeting using thin foam tape.
I added a blob of glue under the wings of the butterflies to give more definition.
I printed the card elements onto 200gsm photo paper and the insert onto 100gsm paper. I cut out all the pieces and attached the front and back using a wet glue. I then added all the decoupage using foam pads and finished by adding a blue sparkly flower embellishment.
A striking card that is not difficult to make and can be used for many occasions.
