Beautiful Soft Vintage Cake

I resized the design to half size and printed the front cake, the stand on 250gsm and the decoupage on 180gsm.

I printed two copies of the stand and scored about 1" down from the top of the one I used for the back, I glued to the score line and attached the front making it a tent card.

On the back copy I just cut a little bit off the bottom so it wasn't rounded and it stands fine like that.

I attached the cake and assembled the elements with foam pads. I added the sentiment tag.

Beautiful design that's versatile and can be added onto your favourite card if preferred.

I reduced the size to make a 5"x7" card, printing the background twice on one sheet of 200gm matte photo paper and printing the other sheets once.

I used spray adhesive to attach each backing sheet to pink paper from cup553605_2013, and also made an accordion stand from the pink paper.

I placed the full card front onto one of the backings and punched a hole through both, and put them together with a brad.

I scored and slightly valley folded the second backing a little ways from the top, attached the front one to it with strong dst, then attached my accordion piece to the base of each one.

Added the back cake with foam pads to the back sheet and the decoupage to the front cake with silicone.

Finished with some lacy peel-offs and a few dots of Liquid Pearl.

The card stands perfectly and the "secret message" shows when the front cake is swung open on the brad. A lovely keepsake!
