Wishing Well Keepsake - Stone/woodCompleted by Pam Stubley
I printed all the sheets from this kit onto 200gsm photo paper and, before I go any further I would just like to say if you are looking for a quick project, this is not for you.
There is a lot of cutting out of the flowers but if you have a die cutting machine this will speed it up.
I scored, cut out and folded all the well elements and assembled the well as per the instructions (if you have any problems there is an excellent tutorial in the craft forum - just click on the mortarboard!) I also made a base for the well for added rigidity - I used the well top as the template and added 2cm to the diameter so I could cut wedges as per the top of the well.
I also chose to have the bucket hanging and attached this with grey embroidery thread. I then added a green quilling strip of paper to drape down the side of the well so I could attach flowers down from the roof.
I added more flowers to the bucket using silicone glue. This is a great project and a keepsake for the special people in your life.
