I mounted my card base onto a cream DL card with a punched border and added a cream backing to the star before adding to my card so that no white showed on the back.
I printed out another 8 tiles and added a full tea-bag fold to the centre of the half one used in the kit.
This just gives a little more 3D effect but I made the mistake of using card instead of paper but I just flattened by leaving overnight under a heavy weight.
I added a matching brad to the centre
