This is one of those card designs that you first think is going to be too difficult, and will take too long to make.
This could not be further from the truth. I used a white 200gsm CB matte card to print out both sheets provided.
I used the main image, as the topper. I then cut a white card which measures 12.5cm square and made it appear as if it was a gold glitter card by colouring in the outside edges to the width of 1cm with a gold metallic glitter glue pen.
I then attached the main image using D.S padded tape.
I made a deep rose red coloured card which I cut at 27cm x 13cm. I scored and folded it and using D.S padded tape attached the topper and gold trimmed backing sheet to the card front.
I used the 4 smaller heart elements, and I used the same pen to colour the edges, and also to high light the base of each set of swans on the smaller hearts.
Once they were dry, I used tiny padded squares to attach them. I cut out the tag with the chain, and one of the floral elements. I highlighted the gold ribbons with the gold pen before attaching the spray of flowers using tiny padded squares.
I coloured the chain and the edges of the heart, with the gold pen, and again used the tiny padded squares to attach the tag.
I used the second copy of the flower spray, to cut and use the main flowers and the bud, and carefully cut the padded squares, to make sure they were not visible.
I completed the card front by attaching gold peel off strips to the 4 sides.
To complete the insert, I used the element provided on the second sheet and made some strips from the same card as I used for the main card.
I used one of the extra flower sprays to add to the right hand side of the insert. This is a delightful professional looking card, which I found really easy and quick to complete with amazing results. Thank you for offering this for me to purchase. Pamela Horton
