Remembering Sarah Completed by Tracey Drage-Baillie

After reading the description about this card I wanted to do it justice so here's how i went about creating it....

I started off by printing it onto a good quality 280gsm white cardstock. After cutting out all the elements I then used 3D foam pads to build up the very easy decoupage elements. To highlight the beautiful roses I used a Sakura pen, Clear Star, to give a subtle glitter effect and on the butterflies' wings I used Wink of Stella 'Crystal'

To finish of I then got out mu Nuvo Crystal Drops in buttermilk and Crushed Grape and added faux pearls to the framework. Oh! I also added just a few golden 2mm gems to the small blossom flowers.

The insert was adhered using a wet glue.

This is such a beautiful sympathy card in non-traditional colours
