Diamond Portal 3
A card kit fitting an 8x8 envelope.
The kit includes the card front, card back and decoupage elements.
The card back has a small flat area allowing the card to be free standing as the card is a round shape. This 'tab' is removable with cutting should the card front be used as a topper.
The card back has room for a verse.
The main image is set inside a diamond edged glass dome. A handle is on the right from which the key that 'opens' the portal hangs.

Reduced the size slightly to fit on 8 1/2" x 11" sheets of matte photo paper. After cutting out the card front and insert, I used spray adhesive to attach them to coordinating stash paper, let them dry, and cut them out again to make them more sturdy.
I scored and valley-folded the card front near the hinge, then used strong dst to attach the insert at the hinge. Added the decoupage pieces with silicone gel. For the flowers, I removed a bit more of the background for each layer, ending with just the large focal flower for the last layer.
Finished with casual outlining of the large flower with giltter glue, a diecut sentiment, and some pink and light green Flower Soft on the scene. So pretty, and it stands up perfectly on the little flat piece.
