Panoramic Christmas - Nativity
A series of kits making a complete 7x5 shaped Christmas card
The kit comprises: the card inner Christmas panorama, the card back facing [with place for your own verse], two card front facings, decoupage elements.
There is a tutorial on CUP to give tips regarding the assembly of the card.
The main image spans across three panels. The back facing is attached to the reveres, and the front facings are attached to the front of the card once folded. Two clusters sit on opposite corners, and a silver snowflake with jewels and a drop hang from the center. Each card has a different cluster and scene. Decoupage elements can be applied as required.
The kit comes with the front facings with the seasonal clusters in place. As an alternative, the front facings are also provided without the cluster, so it can be left 'plain' which you may find more suitable for a male recipient. The choice is yours.

I firstly printed the base of the file onto 240 gm card, I then took the base into an image manipulating software and printed a message on the back as suggested.
I printed the central nativity image onto glossy photographic paper rest of the file onto 135 gm Matt photographic paper.
Because the hinges of the card are quite small I put a small piece of red DDT on the hidden side of the base card and the inner image to add a little extra strength, this wasn't necessary just personal choice.
I fixed the inner image and the outside fronts using wet glue to allow for manipulation. I constructed the decoupage using silicone glue. Lastly I added Glossy Accents to the green gem, the centre of the snowflake and the poinsettias, red liquid gems to the berries and glitter to the pine leaves.
This is a beautiful traditional card, the colours of the lovely vintage style image are very vibrant . The first picture shows the outside of the card, the second picture shows the inside of the card and in the final image I have tried to show the substantial depth of the decoupage.
