8x8 Mini Kit, Beautiful Reading NookCompleted by Darlene Handorff

I made this card for an avid reader friend. She loves to garden, sew, other crafts and she raises gorgeous grapes for the wineries close by. The card photo was printed onto glossy photo papers. I used the 8 x 8 inch scalloped card from CUP.

I resized so to have an edge of gold. Carefully hand cut all the pattern pieces and attached the main front with 3-1 glue and smoothed it out. Then I cut and attached adhesive back foam to the cut decoupage front added it to the front.

I applied a gold wax around and inside the scalloped edges several layers and buffed it out. Lastly I added the left and right inserts which were printed on fine paper stock. It was a pleasure to work with this art card.
