Cookie Pocket - Flakes & RibbonsCompleted by Shelagh E Osborn Wright

This cookie pocket design was printed on medium weight card and the elements and front window cut out. I scored and folded then backed the window with cellophane using DST to fix in place.

I fixed the bottom tags to the back side flaps, then stuck the front side flaps over these using strong DST to form the pocket.

I used a mini brad to fix the back part of the gift tag to the pocket then covered the ends with celotape inside for a smooth finish.

A cream organza bow was added to the front of the tag and tiny gold metallic stars glued to the ends.

I placed a home baked Christmas tree shaped butter biscuit inside the pocket. (These new pockets are nice and roomy so would be great for chunky or decorated cookies too.) Then I added the "button" to close the flap with a glue dot.

A great idea for Christmas time. Thankyou Maurine Tapscott for this new updated design which is even better than the previous ones. Just love it!
