There are so many options when making these bookmarks. The colours appeal to the eye and the shape is very simple to cut.

Option 1 - print them out on good card (or back them with this card after printing) and give them as they are.

Option 2 - for added strength you could print the design twice and stick them back to back so that there is no white paper showing. You could also laminate the bookmark to protect it.

Option 3 - this is what I am showing. I printed the design twice and cut the pieces out. At the top of one piece I added a light crease. I stuck the 2nd piece only to the creased portion so that the 2 pieces could open up. I then added small magnets to the inside bottom of each piece so that the bookmark won't slide out. Magnet sheets and strips are available from newsagents and office supply stores - only a little piece is required per bookmark.
