Book Folding Pattern for Mum
This pattern enables the folder to create the pattern pictured in to a book.
It's not as complicated as it looks! the result is extremely rewarding and makes a great gift for friends and family, you may even sell your completed book!
For this pattern you need a hardback book of 21cm+ tall 233 folds (466 pages)

This takes some practice but is quite fun to do. Discovered it is important to be very precise with the marking and a sharp clean fold is required to make the project look neat.
I have never done book folding before because it looks really hard but i was surprised how easy it actually was and am now hooked.I folded the pages using measurments on the pattern then to make it look more pleasing to the eye i covered the outside of the book with swirly back ground paper by Karen Wyeth and finished by glueing a strip of leather down the spine of the book ,added a 3D butterfly and a leafy ribbon all around the bottom to help hold the book in place.
