Ornare N2
Ornare patterns are used as a borders on a card or on parchment paper. Ornare/Paper Piercing can be done on the front or the back of the paper, depending on the look you would like to create.
From the front, it will be smooth, from the back, you will have stand-up dimension. You can also enhance the pattern by coloring it using chalks or colored pencils.

I printed out the design onto photocopy paper and pricked it out onto white watercolour paper and coloured it using water colour pencils and a water brush.
I added black embroidery thread for the antenna and brown and gold card for the body.
I used a Martha Stewart corner punch, adhesive stones and black peel-offs to decorate the design. I then matted it onto a square orange pearlescent card.
