I have used the basic outline of the design to pierce a red A6 card. I then proceeded to sew between the holes with gold thread to create a frame.

I then produced a bauble pattern on a separate piece of gold card using metallic red silk thread, I attached the gold card in the centre with some foam pads after I had made a diamond pierce in each of the corners.

The card is finished off with a xmas insert to hide the sewing. Thoroughly enjoyed doing this. It is a great design; I have also used more of the holes to produce a finer stitched frame on another card.
