Traced the design using white pencil, then parched it completely. Attached the backing paper using brown and white spots on a 7x7 card. Attached with perga glue in four corners.
The centre teddy was a design I have had for ages and reduced it in size and traced it and embossed it.
Then coloured with perga colours and attached to the main design using perga glue. A bow in brown finished the card.
This square border card is easier to make than it looks. You simply trace the outline then perforate through the pattern with a 4 needle tool and a Teardrop tool before embossing and cutting out.
You can use the centre for regular decoupage but I chose digital stamping image cup97066_27, Deco Lady by Sarah Lake.
I resized the image to fit in the centre square then traced the outlines directly onto the parchment with black fine liner and white pencil.
I then embossed dots on the hat and coat using a grid and embossed the fur and the rest of the design before colouring it on the back with polychromos pencils.
It's backed with patterned red paper, white mulberry paper and black card with silver peeloff corners and a few red gems.
