Poinsettia Parchment PatternCompleted by Wendy Bromilow
OccasionThere are variations on what you can do to make this card, (see pattern for basic instructions). In this instance I embossed the snowflakes, you could alternatively just outline the edges.
I pricked the oval around the text using a grid to ensure even spacing.
The poinsettias are coloured using blendable pencils and lifting colour by further blending with a splender blender pencil.
I used a large ball tool to shape the decoupaged petals, this is done by just gently embossing the centre of the petals.
Using a scallop edged tool to perforate the parchment gives a lacey edge finish.
To perforate out the decoupage petals use a two split tool and perforate into the last hole each time, this makes it easy to tear away.
Have fun experimenting with different variations of the pattern.
