Butterfly and Flowers.Completed by Tasha Clark
OccasionFirstly, I printed the sheet onto some coloured card as I found that it made it easier to see the design through the vellum as I don’t have a light box yet & it was night time so couldn’t use the window!
As this was my 1st parchment attempt & not able to add colour due to lack of correct materials I decided to use just the butterfly.
I followed the instructions on the sheet which were very easy to follow. I then cut a pattern edged square from some background paper from Craft Creations ‘Lilac Small Stars with Silver Foil’, inked the edges & glued it to a white square card.
I cut 2 squares, 1 from some lilac & 1 from some silver pearlescent card with the silver being slightly larger & glued them to the card, silver first.
I bent the wings on the butterfly up a little to give depth to the card & glued just the body to the piece of lilac card.
To finish off I added some adhesive shimmer dots & a ribbon bow.
