Roses Parchment PatternCompleted by Wendy Bromilow

Occasion
Anniversary / Anniversary

I created this card by firstly tracing the pattern onto parchment. I then removed the pattern and working on the back used a shader tool to emboss giving the rose texture and form.

Using a scribe tool I drew lines on the leaves to create the veins.

You will notice areas that have not been embossed, this creates shadows which give a depth to the image.

Using a ruler I emboss over the frame lines with a small embossing tool and then around the scalloped edges.

I perforated around the scalloped edge using a two split tool going back in the last hole created each time, this ensures the parchment tears away easily.

I then fixed the parchment by applying a small amount of double sided tape to back of card.

Finishing - Tied a Burgundy Ribbon with bow around the spine.
