Purple Rose Patchoupage
A gorgeous lilac rose with purple buds set in a satin weave frame. This card has a delicate small rectangle patchoupage layer for lovely finish.
Patchoupage ? a shortened form of patchwork decoupage. Each card sheet has a card front and a patchwork version of it. The patches come in various shapes and sizes: squares, rectangles, hexagons etc. Most are just one layer, but some have a double layer. Most of the cards for the launch are squares and rectangles, a couple are hexagonal. There will be more soon including octagons, pentagons, circles, hearts etc.

I mounted onto an A5 white scalloped edge card and cut out each square individually. I added the squares using sticky pads to give them a raised look. This looks so effective and gives the look of paper weaving but with a 3D effect.
I finished off with a fine gold elasticated bow to the spine
