Kingfisher in the WoodsCompleted by Gwyneth George

The sheet was printed onto super smooth white card and the layers cut out. As I'd been asked for a kingfisher card that would go through ordinary letter post I decided to split the pyramid layers and make two cards from this one sheet.

I stuck the largest layer and the layer next to it both onto irridescent deep blue paper and trimmed around leaving a 2mm border.

I used 2 A6 white cards and picking the yellow colour from the background behind the kingfisher's beak I stuck two panels with some embossing details to each card before sticking down a matted layer to each card.

I then built up the pyramid layers, alternating between each cards, sticking them on with 1mm deep double sided foam tape.
