This design was just a little too big for an A5 card so I mounted onto an 8 x 8 cream card (portrait style) and punched the sides.
I added the pyramid layers using sticky pads and added a pearl heart to the centre of the bow....This is yet another beautiful floral design from Ceredwyn that I just could not resist
A Beautiful Design by Ceredwyn, & so easy to make. in Australia Mothers' day is in May so this is just perfect. Chrysanthemums are just about to come into the flower shops.
I printed it onto 200gsm white matte card twice, used one for the backing and cut away the outer frame on the second. I put it altogether with D.S foam tape. Then mounted it onto an orange backing sheet. The cream card is cut in 2 pieces. The front is19.5 cm x25cm , the back is 25 .5 cm x 25cm.
The Insert is added at the same time2x(19.5 cm x 24cm)
. To make up the card.1.Score on the 3cm mark on the LHS of both back & Front. Back only, Score again at the 6cm mark& 9cm mark. M.fold at 3cm& 6cm,V fold at 9cm. The front only,V fold at 3cm.Fold in the back 2 folds. I wet glued the front & inserts into the fold and set aside to dry under a weight. I made the front side panel onto a strip of orange card 2.7cm x 24.5cm card. The embossed satin orange ribbon is 2cm wide and attached with d.s tape and folded under at the top & bottom . I left a space without D.S Tape 7cm up from the bottom to be able to tie a slip knot through to make a bow using 2 lengths of the ribbon.. Lastly I attached the finished topper onto the card front. Voila- perfection!!. A beautiful feminine card for any occasion.
