Vintage Girl Bookmark

Oh! such a gorgeous design, I just couldn't resist... I started by printing the sheet onto Crafty Bob's A4 Premium Gloss Craft Photo Paper snd cut out all the elements. I mounted the decourpage elements with foam tape and added the pocket with DST. I mounted the base topper onto a burgundy pearlescent cardstock that I used to create the card base - inserting an off-cut of a die-cut lace border down the right hand side in a matching colour. I added the two light pink roses to the top right-hand corner (after winding their stems around a toothpick to create the effect of vines).

Now for the creative flair on the bookmark - I cut out the bookmark leaving the white border and then put slits on the edge of the design 10 cms in length, to this I inserted some more off-cuts of the die-cut border in the same matching colour, and used DST to keep it in place. I finished it off by adding a matching dusty pink cardstock to the back for added strength and to cover up the inserts. Just love the finished product.
