A very stunning and elegant image that delivers a quick card with a dazzling result. Printed on good quality paper, cut-out and layered image to card(s).
Easel Card- I cut the base image and red pearl embossed the edges and then layered the additional layers onto the base with 3d foam mounting tape. I folded a card sheet, made a quick easel frame and cut to size. I added the angel strip to the bottom of the easel card and added a red pearl embossed edged zigzag point to mount the easel. I added a Christmas Sticker from my supplies and finished the card by red pearl embossing all the edges. I loved the finished result of this card, it takes my breath away every time I look at it.
Christmas Bauble for the tree- I made two of these playing with the layers and seeing the finished effect. For one I cut the base image and embossed the edges in gold, I then cut the base image again but this time cut away the gold and white section leaving only the red star, that I then embossed the edges in pearly red. I layered the red edged star on to the base image with 3d foam mounting taper and then added the additional two images to the front. I also backed the image with the same image adding a metallic gold thread between the layers so the finished product could be hung.
On the other Christmas Bauble I did as the steps above less the single red star. Both baubles gave a finished result that I was ecstatic with. The bauble could also be adapted and made into a dangle card.
Shaker card – I took the base image and taped it to card. I then cut of the middle (the image) and replaced it with acetate on the back. I lined up the base image with the card front and taped to a card front. I then used 3d foam mounting tape around the card front (with single circle image) insuring all corners were sealed with tape and then added glitter. I then added the base top image with the acetate over the top. I finished the card by adding a little glue to the circle image in spots for the glitter to adhere to and pearl red embossed all the edges of the card including the top base. The finished effect of this card I found breathtaking and really simple and quick to cut and put together.
