Thank you Nick Bowley for this beautiful pansies and butterflies design. A very easy, quick step by step pyramid method, that falls into place once all the elements are cut out and attached.
I made an ivory, textured finished main card, 30x 15 cm, and then made up the backing sheets, before attaching the elements. I used the shades from within the art work for the backing sheets. The deep plum rose shade is the largest, and is 14 x 13.5cm. To this I attached a deep purple backing sheet 13 x 13cm, with padded tape. I used the main central topper next, to attach with double sided tape.. I attached the 2.5cm wide, mauve organza ribbon to the topper front, 4cm up from the lower edge of the topper, and wrapped the ribbon around to the back of the deep plum rose backing sheet. I then used padded tape to attach these completed items to the card front, 2.5 cm in from the right hand side of the card opening. This left enough room for the organza bow to sit comfortably on the left hand side of the card. I added the elements one by one, carefully placing them, and slightly curving them to be higher in the very centre. Last of all I added the butterflies. I used a permanent very fine black pen to draw the feelers in place. I also mounted the sentiment tag, as I plan to add the words later. A stunning look when finished.
Thank You Nick
