Lace Sympathy Verse
a quick card front with tag and bookmark

I printed this lovely card onto 250gsm High resolution matte paper, then cut out all the decoupage pieces.
I also wanted to decoupage the oval centrepiece as an extra layer, so opened the sheet in Microsoft Paint program, and selected the area I wanted as extra, [from the main front] and copied and pasted onto another sheet and printed that sheet as well.
I used a navy card blank as my base and used double sided tape to attach the main front piece, then added the oval layer, the floral piece as well as the ribbon bow and the extra bow using double sided foam tape.I cut out bothe the bookmarks, and attached the shorter one to the longer one using a navy eyelet. [I used a hole punch to prepare the 2 pieces] then used an eyelet punch to attach the eyelet.
This way the bookmark may be slipped over the relevant page with the book page between the 2 pieces.
I finished the inside by folding a plain piece of A4 paper in half and trimming to size, then attaching double sided tape to the front fold of paper only and attached that to the inside front of the card. [ I often do this on my cards as it gives a nice finish so folk can write their message on white paper, and not worry about the recipient being unable to read it, if it had been written on the dark card.] This card was sent overseas and the recipient was very toouched by the effort and care taken to send such a lovley card.
Thank you, Cynthia, for your lovely design :)
