A fun card to make and quite striking when finished. Firstly I cut out all elements very carefully leaving no white edges. Next, and very importantly, run around the cut edges of all the pieces with a grey or other appropriate coloured brush-tip marker pen.

This helps to have each layer blend in with no startling white bits! Using spongy squares I then carefully lined up and stuck each layer on top of each other. Then, using double sided tape I stuck the whole pyramid to a black mat and then onto my which card.

I decided it needed a little more of something so added a fine silver edge and a birthday salutation. I did think about some subtle black bling but decided that it really didn't need any more.
