I cut out all pieces. I cut out the white areas between the spokes and carriage supports. As these are very narrow areas I chose to glue the carriage directly onto the lower image. So that is the method I used for the entire card.
Then I cut a piece of card stock to form the card bland. I cut the size of the card to allow the ribbon to stick out over the fold edge of the card.
