Love Me, Love My DogsCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

This bevvy of canine beauties, a design by Susan Gilbert, is a cameo to melt any dog lovers’ heart.

I made 2 copies of the sheet provided as I wanted to use one copy of the main image as the main background sheet and use the second copy to bring the dogs and the beautiful titian haired owner to the very fore ground.

I used a red pen to define the edges of the main image and D.S. tape to attach it to an 11.5cm square backing sheet which I have edged with a fine line gold peel off strip.

I have attached this using D.

S. tape to an 11.5cm square white matte backing sheet, which I have defined with the same red pen and added a black scalloped patterned peel off strip.

The main card is a 26 x 13cm sea green coloured card which is scored and folded in half with the edges defined with a red pen.

I used the extra happy birthday sentiment and mounted it and the fore ground images from the second sheet using D.S. padded tape.

I attached an animal print ribbon tied into a single knot. The insert is cup814313_79993, Christmas lace effect, a design by Clare Walker, cut to size and I have added a peel off sentiment, and a small strip of the same ribbon.

This is such an easy quick card to make, and I know as I have many dog lover friends, I will have many uses for this design in the future.
