To complete the making of this Autumn Lilacs topper and extra elements supplied for purchase by Ceredwyn Macrae , I have printed the sheet twice onto the same A4 white 170gsm satin finished photo paper.
I have used a copy of the full main image as the main backing sheet and used cup986138_21027, Delicate pastel coloured Spotty backing sheet to change the hue to mauve.
I cut from this backing sheet a 14.25cm square. The white 13.5cm square backing sheet and the main 12.75cm main image both have the edges defined using a mauve permanent metallic pen.
This group of backing sheets are attached together using red power D.S. tape.
The ribbon is attached 7.5cm down horizontally from the top edge of the largest backing sheet and the tails secured at the back before I have attached this topper to the white 15cm square card front, which also has the edges defined with the same pen.
I have used the second copy of the image to remove the frame and reserve it to use for part of the insert.
I defined the edges of the smaller framed floral image and using padded D.S. tape attached it in place across the top of the ribbon.
I attached the bow using 2mm wide red power tape. I used the same mauve shade of the spotty paper to attach to the insert page of the card before I attached the reserved frame with the verse I have chosen.
I have used the 2 smaller images supplied with the sheet to make 2 small gift cards.
I love the delicate shades of this design, which I have used it as a birthday greeting for this project and will be able to use it for many other celebrations including Easter, which we celebrate in Autumn, Mothers’ Day, even Sympathy, so thank you Ceredwyn for offering this design for purchase.
