This card topper design does have a summer breeze effect on the viewer with the gorgeous pink purple and green floral arrangement and the double frame which makes you think of a window looking out onto the garden. I made 2 copies of the sheet provided using CB 200gsm matte white card, and used one of these copies as the main background. I attached an ivory 2.5cm satin ribbon across the back of this main topper, 3.5cm down from the top edge. Then using padded D.S. tape I attached these 2 backing sheets, the black textured card which measures 13.5cm square and the camel textured card which measures 14cm square. I used a deep plum coloured pen and a steel ruler to mark a narrow margin on all 4 sides of the camel card. This was to match the colour on the edges of the bow. I then used the second copy to cut away the outside gold scroll frame, and used the same plum coloured pen to colour in the inside edges of the frame, and then attach it using white glue. I used the bow from the first copy to attach to the topper with D.S. tape. I then used the main element from the second copy to carefully cut out the complete flower arrangement, and attach it to the topper using tiny padded D.S. squares. I made 2 backing sheets in the same oval shape as the sentiment supplied, and coloured the edges with the plum coloured pen, and then used padded tiny squares to attach them together, and then on to the front of the topper, to cover the birthday wishes sentiment. I made a onestep bow using the same ivory satin ribbon and attached it using white glue and held it in place for a couple of minutes to make sure it would stay intact. I made the main card from a pink 200gsm card, by cutting it at 15 x 14cm, and before I scored and folded it I coloured all the edges with the plum pen, and wrapped the ribbon around to the back of the camel backing sheet, securing it at the back with power tape. I then used padded D.S. tape to attach the completed topper to the card front. For the insert I used a satin gloss paper, to print cup799405_79993, which is a backing sheet by Clare Walker, and cut it to fit the insert space of 27.5 x 14.5cm. I used the extra bow from the second copy, attached to a deep rose pink heart, I cut out by hand, and used some narrow rose pink strips to make a frame for the white blank sheet, I attached for the greeting. I used the pieces of the bow from the second sheet to make a whole bow and attached that to the right hand side of the insert. This is indeed a beautiful card design and I was well rewarded with the effort of making the second copy and completing the topper as a decoupage. Thank you for this design Ceredwyn, I do love your beautiful flower images.
