If you want to make a very quick easy card for someone special, and you want it to show some of your card making skills to effect, this is the card to cover all of the above.

To make this card finish for posting size at 6”x 6” (15cm x 15cm), I made a white 29 x 14.5cm card to score and fold to give a square 14.5cm card front.

I printed the sheet provided twice onto good quality white paper at a finished size of 17.8cm x 12.7cm (7”x5”), which meant I was able to cut out the main image at a finished size of 12.25cmx12.75cm (4¾” x 5”).

I made an ivory backing sheet 12.5cm x 13.00cm (5” x 5¼”), and attached the main image using D.S. tape.

I then attached the bright rose pink, 1cm wide satin ribbon horizontally across the topper, 4.5cm up from the lower edge of the ivory backing sheet and secured it at the back using D.S. tape.

I then attached this topper to the 13.5cm (5 and7/8”) square rose pink backing sheet, and then onto the card front using D.S. tape.

I used the second copy to carefully cutaway the frame retaining it for part of the insert, and used the smaller central image to attach to the card font using padded D.S. tape.

To complete the insert I attached the frame and the smaller image supplied to the left hand side of the card.

I used a pale pink white spot sheet printed on both sides to cut at 27cm x 14.25cm (10 and 5/8”x 5 and 5/8”) to fold at 13cm (5 and 1/8”) in from the left hand edge.

I used a metallic thread and sewing needle to make a running stitch 0.5cm in from the left of the fold, vertically.

This was to give the appearance that the insert was stitched in place. I place a folded lace along the edge of the left hand side using tiny spots of white glue.

I printed the verse I have written onto the same pink white spotty paper and attached it to the right hand side.

I attached a length of the same ribbon vertically securing it at the back. I made 2 bows in the same ribbon and attached one to the insert onto the ribbon.

To complete the card, I have left the left hand side of the second page of the insert for my personal greeting, and folded this page before attaching it to the card inside directly onto the white right hand side 0.5cm away from the fold line I have then added the deep rose pink peel off sentiment and the birthday wishes sentiment from the sheet provided.

I closed the card and added the second bow I had made onto the ribbon and added the sentiment supplied with the sheet.

The image makes a stunningly beautiful card front, and the design has such universal use, thank you Ceredwyn, you have inspired my card making today.
