I don't know if it was my printer but the background came out with quite faded colours.
I glazed the decoupaged black shoe to make it really ping out against the background.

I printed the sheets onto high quality card paper. I cut out all the elements. Using double side adhesive tape I attached the decoupages to the card. Then I glued the card onto the base and added insert.
