I printed the sheet onto lightweight 160gsm card and cut out the elements. The base image was attached to a white card blank using DST and the layers and greeting attached using glue gel.
I applied glaze to the spectacle lenses and to the drink, then highlighted the candle flames and jewellery with coloured glitter glue.
Finally I added pink self-adhesive gems.
The design was printed on quality cardstock and the decoupage was done with foam pads. The card front was attached, with double sided tape, to a deep pink matte and then to a white card.
Rhinestones were added on the text boxes and for Stella's jewelry.
A bit of glitter on the bouquet completed this humorous birthday card.
