Barnacle Bill Has Been Aboard Longer Quick Card
a quick make topper sheet featuring that old sea dog Barnacle Bill its his birthday and his comment is.... When it comes to age we're all in the same boat... only some of us have been aboard a little longer. happy birthday tag also provided for the placement of your choice. Great for the guys but perfect for those old sailors.

With this design I first printed it out onto photo paper, then after cutting out all the elements, I placed the main design base onto the front of a two toned blue C5 card, I then made up the design, this is did using 2mm sticky pads, this is a terrific, fun design with Bill, was very quick and easy to cut and make up and is stunning once done
I printed on to matte photo paper and cut out the parts. I edged all the pieces with a mid blue promarker. I centred and mounted the base image on a white A5 cardblank. I layered the Barnacle Bill medallion, greeting and text with foam pads.
I used yellow stickles on the cap details and glossy accents on the walking stick and shoes. I added faux gold metal brads to the text. I added die cut lighthouse, deckchair and gold ship's helm to match the nautical theme and a gold peel off seagull.
Lovely simple card to make which looks really eyecatching and is sure to be appreciated by men of a certain age!!
