This very tiny cute bear holding a butterfly has such universal appeal and is so easily adaptable to suit most female age groups and almost every celebration and or occasion.
Thank you Cassandra, I love this topper and will use it many times.
Today I have made a main card with a matching insert and 2 little 6x6 cm little closed style gift cards.
I have used a Crafty Bob supplied, 5”,12.5cm, square scalloped edged, card to attach the completed topper. I printed the sheet three times and used one main image to attach to a 10cm square white backing sheet using D.S. tape.
I used a matching blue metallic pen to edge this backing sheet before attaching the narrow white cotton lace strip 2cm in from the left hand side, vertically, then attached this onto a matching blue, 10.5cm square, backing sheet.
I attached the rose stem onto the back of the backing sheet and bent the rose over the edge and onto the front of the card and edged the main scalloped edge with the blue metallic pen before using the padded D.S. tape to attach this to the card front.
I have used a deep rose pink gingham narrow ribbon to make a bow and folded the tails over the main card front onto the inside.
I used the second copy of the sheet supplied to carefully cut away the frame, to reserve for part of the insert and used the white surround part of the image of the bear to attach using padded D.S. tape.
I used the third copy to cut out the image of the bear holding the butterfly and attached this to form the decoupage and give the card front extra depth, using padded D.S. small squares.
I have used a backing sheet by Clare Walker, Rose background, cup802451_79993, and to this I have attached the reserved frame.
I have mounted this frame onto a white 10 cm backing sheet before attaching it to the right hand side of the insert.
I have attached the sentiment which was supplied and used another sentiment a tiny rosebud and the same ribbon on the left hand side.
I have photographed and included 2 of the gift cards I have made with the smaller images. One has the blue backing sheet and one has the dusty pink backing sheet. A delightfully happy image has made this project a happy stay indoors day for me. Pamela Horton.
