Poinsettia Christmas animals card front 1

This cute animal pair with colourful poinsettia background and ribbon will delight any family to receive as part of their Christmas card greetings this coming Festive Season.

I have used burgundy card cut at 26.25x13.5cm to make the main card and cut the silver and white swirl backing sheet at 12cm square attaching it to the card front using red power tape.

I printed the sheet provided twice as I wanted to add extra dimension using decoupage. I cut out all the elements and added the pieces step by step using red power tape and D.S. padded tape.

I then used glitter glue around the floral button and the green edge of the animal’s frame. I have used one of the sentiments and added the red glitter edged ribbon as an extra embellishment. To complete the insert. I have used the polar bear as the focus on the blue background and used an acetate snowflake print to over print the verse and the polar bear.
