A Christmas present in itself from Ceredwyn, with 3 card toppers on one sheet. Thank You so much
I printed the sheet supplied onto gloss white 200gsm card, and cut out the three toppers. I made the blue bauble and angel card first. I made the main card from a snow flake print card 20cm x 18cm and edged it with a silver glitter pen. I then made another 2 copies of this topper. One onto the same gloss card and one onto copy paper. The original topper I matted flat onto the snowflake card with double sided tape, the second gloss copy ,I cut around the pale blue frame and used padded tape to attach this to the front of the card. I then used the bauble elements to back with a light card and using a tiny brush, I painted mod podge dimensional magic onto each bauble. Once they were completely dry, I cut them out and attached them in place using padded tiny squares. I used a fine gel pen to draw the strings attached to the baubles and added a peel off glitter sentiment.
The green backing on the candle card I used as my theme and used a holly and berry backing sheet, 10 x 20cm onto a rich green folded, card front, 21cm x 21cm. Using the topper and padded double sided tape, I attached this to another lighter green backing sheet 18x 9cm. I attached the ribbon to the back of this green backing sheet with enough length to wrap around the front to tie a bow. I again used padded tape, as before, to attach the topper to the main card. I used an alcohol pen to colour a peel off in the same green as the main card, and added 2 extra tails to the bow using white glue to hold them in place.
The red front door card, I copied again onto gloss card and used the first copy as the main topper, and cut away the frames from the second copy, which I mounted using padded tape. I attached the ribbon by the right side to the back of the main topper at the point where the house lanterns are positioned. I left enough tail length, to be able to wrap the ribbon around and tie a bow at the left hand side.
I attached a white backing sheet to the back of the toppers using padded tape, and wrapped the ribbon around and secured it firmly at the back of the white card. I tied the bow before I attached this to the main card. The main card is a bright red, 19cm x 18.5 folded. I used padded tape to attach the completed topper to this main card.. I then used a Gold glitter pen to high light the window, the lanterns and the snow drifts, and simply added a glitter, peel off sticker. All 3 done in an afternoon. So lovely and bright, simple to make. The step by step is my joy to do, however, in a very short time, a quick print off and a card cut to size, will have the cards made so easily, and will give the you the same beautiful faultless result.
Thank You, Ceredwyn, for this bargain day for me.
