A beautiful Christmas theme card, with very happy thoughts, and well wishes inspired, for all age groups. I made a quick card, and liked it so much I made it again using a step by step method.
I printed the sheet supplied onto Crafty Bob's gloss white card. and cut the topper away from the sheet. I used a silver permanent ink pen and a steel ruler and drew a very narrow edge along all 4 sides of the topper. I then mounted this using padded double sided tape to a matt white card. I also edged this white card with the silver pen. I made up the main card and backing sheets next. The card itself I cut from good strong white card 28cm. x15cm. I then cut a deeper blue card 13.5 x 14cm. and edged it on all 4 sides with a black pen. Then cut out a silver gloss patterned card, 13.5 x 13cm. and used double sided tape to matt these together. I measured up 3.5cm up from the lower edge of the blue backing sheet and used a 26cm length of 3cm wide blue satin ribbon to wrap it around both of these backing sheets. I then attached it firmly to the back of the blue card using magic tape. Once I had folded the white card, I then attached the backing sheets using double sided tape. I made a tiny bow with a1cm. wide ribbon, the same colour as the wider ribbon used. It was so easy then to apply double sided padded tape to the completed topper back and attach it to the completed card with the backing sheets in place.
To make the step by step card, I made 2 copies of the sheet supplied in the gloss card, and made up as for the quick card. then, from the second copied sheet, I cut around the snowman and scarf and used padded double sided tiny dots to attach this on the topper, and I also cut out the sleigh and its' contents. I carefully with the help of a craft knife and tiny scissors opened up the see through area of the sleigh before attaching it with the same tiny dots. I didn't use any of the generously supplied sentiments, but did use the extra elements that were left on the sheets, including the sentiments and the tiny topper, to make gift cards and inserts for the 2 cards and the gift cards. See the extra photographs of one of the gift cards. Such excellent value from one sheet, and such delightful results all round. Thank you Ceredwyn for another beautiful Christmas card to add to my stash, I will be well and truly ready this December
