Lumberjack Gnome with Verse 2Completed by Donna Ritchie

I wanted to make the slice of wood behind this gnome the focal point of this card so I used a kraft base card. I printed the design on matte photo paper and cut out the layers - it is worth taking care when fussy cutting the largest piece to keep the 'imperfections' of the wood. I used a toning ink pad on all the cut edges before using foam squares to complete the decoupage. The design was then flat stuck to the front of my base card.
