Winter Holly Moments Frosty SnowmanCompleted by Stefanie Mohrmann
OccasionFirst of all, I resized the image set so the topper would fit onto a 150 x 150 mm card with a margin around it.
I also prepared a German sentiment using the blank given.
I printed everything onto smooth sturdy cardstock, a German brand (Tatmotive).
After cutting out all the parts, I inked the edges of the main topper design with a medium blue ink pad.
Then I went in with my clear glitter pen around the edges of the poinsettia decoupage elements - it is ever so helpful when you need to cover up fussy-cutting mistakes!
And since there can never be enough glitter ...
I embossed the snowballs with white puff embossing powder, not covering the whole snowball, just about two thirds.
I layered up all elements onto the topper, using more glitter on every part of the snowman that's white (or red, I included the cheeks, of course).
Please Sir, can I have some more ... glitter? Obviously, yes! Streaks of it in the snowy area. You may even be able to see the animal footprints I added?
I was really tempted to cut an incision for a real ribbon ... Maybe in a later edition of this card. Because I will definitely make more than one of this!
