Magical Fairy Card Front Kit, Birthdays Etc - Completed by Mary Trueman

Folded an A4 card stock of a corrisponding colour to the frame of the image. Printed the cUp sheet to suite the size of the card on very thin card type used for decoupage in My Craft Studio, then covered the main card image with a white sheet leaving the decoupage image in place, this I used the brighten tool to lift the image, two shades lighter gave me the shade I wished the wings to be.

Highlighted both the inner and outer frame with a pattered and plain peel off and decoupaged the image using the lighter verison of the fairy as the first layer and image from the full sheet as the last layer minus the wings.

I then using a quicky glue pen traced the wings with Iridescencet miro glitter, I also used this on parts of the gown, I took the glue pen in lines down the highlighted parts of the skirt and then glittered. The buckle on the skirt of the gown again traced with the quicky glue pen and the shaded areas of the folds (in fine lines) glittered with very fine silver.

Finally I took two butterfly peel offs one solid and one skeletel and put them on to foil sheets the silver gave a mirror effect to the butterfly in the fairy's eye line and a blue in a slightly darker shade for the frame, then applied the sentiment.
