Beautiful Roses on a Shaped Mat Completed by Shirley Thompson

I printed this page onto 160 gsm matt white card before cutting out. I only used the small mat for this card. I began by covering the front of a white 300 gsm card with aqua coloured marble backing paper from my own stash.

I then matted a smaller rectangle of white card leaving a narrow aqua border (I rounded the corners before attaching with tacky glue).

I affixed the small mat and the sentiment using foam pads, cut a thin ribbon strip of aqua backing paper and glued that in place and finally die cut a fancy bow from the aqua paper which I fixed with a foam pad.
