Pink BoHo Roses on Lace 4Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

Here is another stunning rose and lace design, by Ceredwyn Mcrae, that is so quick and easy to assemble, by printing the size you want, then cutting out the element and making a simple card, using glue or D.S. tape.

I have made several of these as quick cards to put into a bundle tied with a ribbon as a birthday gift using each of the different sentiment tags and making small gift cards to accompany the bundle.

As I love step by step and decoupage craft, I have made this greeting card to send to a special friend.

I printed the sheet three times onto white card and used the main element of one of these copies as the main backing sheet.

I used D.S. tape to attach this to a textured 13.5cm square pale pink card. I added 2 strips of lace onto the back of a deep rose pink ribbon and then wrapped this around these backing sheets, securing it at the back before attaching this group to the white 14cm square card front.

I used the second copy to cut out the central round image, keeping intact the leaves and over hanging roses.

I curved the outside leaves and rose petals down and away from the centre using my fingers, and then attached padded tape to the larger area and clear multi-glue gel to the leaves and overhanging roses.

I let the glue become sticky for a few minutes and then attached this to the main image, using my fingertips to secure the fine leaves down and to give the whole image a curved appearance.

I used the third copy to cut out the 2 main roses and attached them using this same method. I made the matching bow, added lace to the sentiment, added the pink pearl gems, and used red power tape to attach them to the card front.

The insert is a pale pink rose embossed sheet cut into 2 to fit with the same lace attached to the inner edges and a small image on the left hand side.
