Here is a beautiful nostalgic universal design with a good choice of possible sentiments, even sympathy could be used on the blank verse option.
I printed the sheet twice onto 170gsn satin finished paper and used the full image from one sheet to remove the frame and the second print to cut away the central image complete with the frame.
I was then able to use the size and shape of the larger frame to make the white oval backing sheet 0.5cm larger and attach the daisy chain style lace to the edges using tiny spots of super-Tac Glue.
I have used a delicate 14x12cm top fading pale pink floral backing sheet to attach to the front of the easel folded 30 x13cm pink main card.
I completed the decoupage by using white glue, red power tape and D.S tape to add all the elements step by step.
I have added the white decorative peel off strips and white crosgrain ribbon bow.
I have not included the sentiments or the verse at this stage, but intend to make another greeting card similar, as a sympathy card to have on hand and will add this to the photographs next week.
Thank you, Julia and Michael from Black sheep Creations, for this universal and much appreciated design offered for purchase. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus.
