Mixed Roses on a blue Oval MatCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

There is no doubt about the fact, that Ceredwyn's flower designs, are such easy projects to complete. They are, so quick and easy to finish, if you are stretched for time, or they are so easy to then enhance with your own creativity into a card, or like this one, where, Ceredwyn has provided an absolutely beautiful bouquet as a topper, and a matching decoupage. I made the main card, the front of which measures, 15 x13cm, in a deep plum shade, to match the darker of the roses, and then, coloured the edges of this textured, core card, with a permanent pen, in a dark plum shade. The main backing sheet is the design by Clare Walker. cup827619_79993, Botanical Leaf in Blue, and measures, 14x12cm. I used a royal blue, 1cm wide, satin ribbon, to attach to the front of this backing sheet. I measured the middle point, as a guide, and attached it vertically, using D.S. tape, and then secured it at the back, of the botanical leaf, backing sheet. I then attached this to the card front, with padded D.S. tape.

I printed the sheet supplied, onto 200gsm white card, and cut out all the elements. I used the main oval shaped topper, and attached it, using padded D.S. tape to a white backing sheet. which measures 13x 11cm. I then coloured the edges, with a royal blue permanent pen. I used D.S. tape to then attach this to the card front. As a quick card, this is absolutely beautiful, and so easy to finish. As I really enjoy decoupage and step by step methods, I then cut out, the provided extra bouquet of roses, and attached this, with small squares of padded D.S. tape. I added the royal blue bow, and attached the sentiment with D.S. padded tape. For the insert, I used the same botanical print, and some writing paper, to make a space for the greeting. I also added some roses to keep within the theme of the topper.

An easy, quick and delightfully beautiful card. I am very happy with the result. This is definitely one I will use many times. Thank you.
