To My Valentine

This is a card which lends itself to being dressed up - I made this card for my husband so went all out. I printed the design on matte photo paper and cut the bird, girl and envelope out. I put 1mm foam squares behind the envelope and 2mm foam squares behind the parts of the bird not on the envelope - for those parts that overlapped I used 1mm foam squares.

Before cutting out the hearts I covered them in Dimensional Magic to give them shine and raised them on foam squares and dots. To the white hearts I added white glitter glue and used red Stickles on the dots.

I only had white ribbon with hearts so I coloured it by rubbing a red ink pad lightly over it. I stuck this on with dst, making 2 loops rather than a double bow and stuck the heart on top with a foam square.
