The design was printed onto A4 250 gsm glossy photo paper, and the elements cut out. The square base print was matted and layered onto card using white flocked paper (for texture), and silver paper.

Antenna using silver ribbon was glued to the butterfly cut out, and the body coloured in with a silver pen.

The wings were then valley folded either side of the body for added 3D effect, and the butterfly stuck over the base print with a foam pad.

The white border was then decorated with Birthday banners, silver glitter lettering and star crystals.
